Breakfast rolls with tea, coffee and juice will be served on arrival. 2 course BBQ will be served after the tournament. The Club House will be open for you to purchase any additional refreshments.

Etiquette Rules for the Day
Course Dress Code
  • Please respect the Dress Code of the Club
  • ALL PLAYERS MUST WEAR GOLF SHOES WITH SOFT SPIKES.
Women
  • Shirts or dresses must have a collar and sleeves, unless recognised golf attire.
  • Skorts, shorts and dresses must be an appropriate length.
  • Trousers must be tailored.
Men:
  • Shirts must have a collar and sleeves unless recognised golf attire.
  • Trousers and shorts must be tailored.
  • Canons Brook does NOT allow: Denim clothing, tracksuits, sports clothing, t-shirts or vests and no footwear other than golf shoes.
  • Visitors will not be allowed on the Course unless they are suitably dressed.
  • Please note that anyone who is not dressed appropriately will be refused permission to play golf and no refunds will be made.
Course Etiquette
  • Please avoid slow play at all times - If you lose one hole from the group in front, you must allow the group behind you to play through. But preferably try to keep pace with the game in front. At all times we would ask you to respect this policy.
  • Always rake bunkers, repair pitch marks, and replace divots on the course.
  • General behaviour on the course needs to be of a good standard at all times.
  • Mobile phones are to be switched to silent unless there is an emergency.
  • PLEASE BE AWARE – Canons Brook allow for 12 minutes per hole so ensure you are at your 8th hole within 1hour 28mins of the start of your round.
  • Golfers must not share golf bags.
Clubhouse Etiquette
  • Strictly No Smoking or Vaping throughout the building.
  • The dress code for the Clubhouse is relaxed and all we ask is that guests dress appropriately for the occasion.
  • Please refrain from use of mobile phones, music players or games machines in bar/ restaurant.
  • Food/drinks are not to be brought on the premises, for consumption, without approval.
  • Spikes are allowed in the Clubhouse as long as they are CLEAN.
Anti - Social Behaviour
  • Canons Brook Golf Club is committed to ensuring that they maintain a family friendly and safe environment for all members and guests. All members and guests are reminded that the following behaviour is not acceptable:
  • The persistent use of foul language.
  • Threatening or aggressive behaviour.
  • Intoxication.
  • Abusive behaviour towards Staff.
  • Vandalism of Club property.
Changes to your Membership status
  • Any pre-booked events, exhibitions, training or workshops that occur AFTER your membership has expired will be converted to a standard booking and the additional costs must be paid.
  • If a Member Only event, your booking will be cancelled and refunded.
*Non-Member Attendance to Events
  • Non-members can only attend or exhibit at TWO of our events.
  • If you book to attend or exhibit at more than two events, you will be notified that your subsequent bookings will be cancelled and refunded.
  • The attendance of more than two of these events is down to the discretion of Essex Chambers of Commerce and reviewed on an individual basis.
The Event
  • Delegate lists will not be sent out prior to the event.
  • Please be aware it is prohibited to distribute any leaflets or literature, with the exception of personal business cards, at our events. Anyone seen doing so will have their literature removed by the organisers.
  • Photos/videos will be taken at events and used in social media activity & post event publicity. Should you not want to be included in photos/videos, please make the event administrator aware on the day of the event.
  • Whilst we endeavour to ensure the attendance of our advertised speakers, we cannot be held responsible for any last-minute changes and refunds will not be available.
ESSEX CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ADMISSION TO ALL OR PART OF ANY EVENT.

Payment
  • All event bookings need to be made and paid online only unless we have agreed alternative arrangements with you in advance of the event. If you have any queries, please contact our Accounts Manager Rachael Hogg on 01206 363721.
  • Each ticket is for ONE attendee only, please book per person attending.
  • The Chambers have the right to refuse entry to events to any delegate who has not made payment in full.
Cancellation
  • 14 full working days’ notice, prior to the actual event day, is required to cancel an event place and qualify for a full refund. Cancellation must be submitted in writing to the events team. events@essexchambers.co.uk.
  • There is no charge if a substitute person wishes to replace an existing delegate. Please inform us as soon as possible.
  • We reserve the right to cancel any event at any time without liability. In the unlikely event of this happening delegates would be offered an alternative date, event or a full refund.
